Our team is working hard on another jewel which is likely to be available by the end of this month. And (as usual) I can not give any other hint at this time, but you will not be deceived. I think it will be a success because it has all the required ingredients. How do I know that?
A piece of software has the ingredients for success when it does something unique that people just need. In these days, many developers believe that it is not possible anymore to do unique pieces of software because every need and ground is already covered. That is not true and we have demonstrated it along the history.
For example, our Atelier Web Remote Commander. Even though it was catering for a market populated with freeware it has unique features that people really need. Since such features are not available in the free software, AWRC has been a continued success.
On the other hand, unique features that don’t satisfy a strong need are guaranteed to be a failure. We have also examples of that within our range of products.
This topic of ingredients for success is interesting and I may elaborate a little more on it on my next post!
